The Ballarat Wildlife Park offers plenty of opportunities for visitors to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s native wildlife. Bring along a picnic to enjoy on the lawns or dine in the onsite café. Before heading home, check out the souvenir shop where you can pick up plush toys, t-shirts, postcodes and other Australian made products.
Some of the wildlife you can hope to meet include: koalas, emus, echidnas, fresh water crocodiles, kangaroos, giant tortoises, saltwater crocodiles, blue-tongue lizards, wombats, quokkas, Tasmanian devils, alpacas, spotted-tail quolls, plus a variety of snakes and birdlife.
